How deep do you grind a stump?
We grind stumps below ground level — generally 150–300mm down, enough to clear the root plate so you can mow, build or plant straight over it. We chase the main lateral roots a short way where they'd interfere, then tidy the mulch and backfill the hole. We'll grind to suit what you're planning for the spot.
