How long do shade sails last on the Coffs Coast?
A good-quality, UV-rated sail properly tensioned will generally last 8–10 years on the coast before the fabric needs replacing, though the posts and footings last far longer. Sun, salt and wind are the main wear factors, so a higher-grade fabric pays off in exposed spots. We tension and angle each sail for water run-off so it doesn't sag or pool and age faster.
